The Akins family, which lived in the village of Kyleakin, moved to Denmark in 1850s. They may have not many belongings, but their craftsmanship of watchmaking must be an important one.

In Denmark, the Akins kept making watches. They’ve earned great reputation by their amazing skills and sincerity. For over 150 years, the idea of Danish design, “simple and functional ” has significant influenced the Akins, and the influence is clearly shown in the timepieces they’ve made.
